Tribute to Shingo Araki

My tribute to the late Shingo Araki: Shura of Capricorn. This one is for a book created by Olivier Chamaillard, for Araki's widow. Pitt pens, Copic markers and white pencil.

Something Else...

Sometimes people commission me to do portraits in a classic way. I love to do that.

Sanguine and brown color pencils on beige paper with white acrylic.

Aldebaran of Taurus

I really am NOT into that Saint Seiya frenzie. A friend of mine asked me to watch the new OAVs (Hades) and I really dig the character. So... Best bit: The collumn and the armor. I thought afterward that I could have use a pic of Ray Stevenson (Titus Pullo) as reference for the face.

Darkness

I've begun to draw this one at work, and turned out that french publisher Semic wanted illustrations to fill in the french edition of Darkness. So I've coloriée it on computer at home. At that time, I didn't ink my work, but cleaned it with pencils through a lightbox.

Golden Age Heroes and Villains Sketchcards

Breygent Entertainment contacted me a few week after I've produced the Iron Man 2  set. I had to draw characters that were in the public domain. I've used Pantone markers that time to give a different feel with the colors.
